Psalm 145

I will extol you, my Elohim, O King;

And I will bless your name for ever and ever.

2 Every day will I bless you

And I will praise your name for ever and ever.

3 Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised;

And his greatness is unsearchable.

4 One generation shall laud your works to another,

And shall declare your mighty acts.

5 Of the glorious majesty of your honor,

And of your wondrous works, will I meditate.

6 And men shall speak of the might of your terrible acts;

And I will declare your greatness.

7 They shall utter the memory of the great goodness,

And shall sing of your righteousness.

8 Yahweh is gracious, and merciful;

Slow to anger, and of great lovingkindness.

9 Yahweh is good to all;

And his tender mercies are over all his works.

10 All your works shall give thanks to you, O Yahweh;

And your saints shall bless you.

11 They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom,

And talk of your power;

12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts,

And the glory of the majesty of his kingdom.

13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,

And your dominion endures throughout all generations.

14 Yahweh upholds all that fall,

And raises up all those that are bowed down.

15 The eyes of all wait for you;

And you give them their food in due season.

16 You open your hand,

And satisfy the desire of every living thing.

17 Yahweh is righteous in all his ways,

And gracious in all his works.

18 Yahweh is near to all them that call upon him,

To all that call upon him in truth.

19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him;

He also will hear their cry, and will save them.

20 Yahweh preserves all them that love him;

But all the wicked will he destroy.

21 My mouth shall speak the praise of Yahweh;

And let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

Psalm 146

HalleluYah!

Praise Yahweh, O my soul.

2 While I live will I praise Yahweh:

I will sing praises to my Elohim while I have any being.

3 Put not your trust in princes,

Nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

4 His breath goes forth, he returns to his earth;

In that very day his thoughts perish.

5 Happy is he that has the El of Jacob for his help,

Whose hope is in Yahweh his Elohim:

6 Who made heaven and earth,

The sea, and all that in them is;

Who keeps truth forever;

7 Who executes justice for the oppressed;

Who gives food to the hungry Yahweh looses the prisoners;

8 Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind;

Yahweh raises up them that are bowed down;

Yahweh loves the righteous;

9 Yahweh preserves the sojourners;

He upholds the fatherless and widow;

But the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

10 Yahweh will reign forever,

Your Elohim, O Zion, to all generations.

HalleluYah!

Psalm 147

HalleluYah!

For it is good to sing praises to our Elohim;

For it is pleasant, and praise is comely.

2 Yahweh does build up Jerusalem;

He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.

3 He heals the broken in heart.

And binds up their wounds.

4 He counts the number of the stars;

He calls them all by their names.

5 Great is our Sovereign, and mighty in power;

His understanding is infinite.

6 Yahweh upholds the meek:

He brings the wicked down to the ground.

7 Sing to Yahweh with thanksgiving;

Sing praises upon the harp to our Elohim,

8 Who covers the heavens with clouds,

Who prepares rain for the earth,

Who makes grass to grow upon the mountains.

9 He gives to the beast his food

And to the young ravens which cry.

10 He delights not in the strength of the horse:

He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.

11 Yahweh takes pleasure in them that fear him,

In those that hope in his lovingkindness.

12 Praise Yahweh, O Jerusalem;

Praise your Elohim, O Zion.

13 For he has strengthened the bars of your gates;

He has blessed your children within you.

14 He makes peace in the borders;

He fills you with the finest of the wheat.

15 He sends out his commandment upon earth;

His word runs very swiftly.

16 He gives snow like wool;

He scatters the hoar-frost like ashes.

17 He casts forth his ice like morsels:

Who can stand before his cold?

18 He sends out his word, and melts them:

He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

19 He shows his word to Jacob,

His statutes and his ordinances to Israel.

20 He has not dealt so with any nation:

And as for his ordinances, they have not known them.

HalleluYah!
