1 John 4
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of Yahweh; because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of Yahweh: every spirit that confesses that Yahshua the Messiah has come in the flesh is of Yahweh: 3 and every spirit that confesses not Yahshua is not of Yahweh: and this is the spirit of the anti-messiah, of which you have heard that it comes; and now it is in the world already. 4 You are of Yahweh, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. 5 They are of the world: therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them. 6 We are of Yahweh: he that knows Yahweh hears us; he who is not of Yahweh does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of Yahweh; and everyone that loves is begotten of Yahweh, and knows Yahweh. 8 He that loves not knows not Yahweh; for Yahweh is love. 9 In this was the love of Yahweh manifested in us, that Yahweh has sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love not that we loved Yahweh, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if Yahweh so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No man has beheld Yahweh at any time: if we love one another, Yahweh lives in us, and his love is perfected in us: 13 by this we know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 Whoever shall confess that Yahshua is the son of Yahweh, Elohim lives in him, and he in Elohim. 16 And we know and have believed the love which Yahweh has in us. Yahweh is love; and he that lives in love lives in Yahweh, and Yahweh lives in him. 17 In this is love made perfect with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as he is, even so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love: but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment; and he that fears is not made perfect in love. 19 We love, because he first loved us. 20 If a man say, I love Yahweh, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love Yahweh whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from him, that he who loves Yahweh love his brother also.
1 John 5
Whoever believes that Yahshua is the Messiah is begotten of Yahweh: and whoever loves him that begat loves him also that is begotten of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Yahweh and do his commandments. 3 For this is the love of Yahweh, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatever is begotten of Yahweh overcomes the world: and this is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 And who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Yahshua is the Son of Yahweh? 6 This is he that came by water and blood, Yahshua the Messiah; not with water only, but with the water and with the blood. 7 And it is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth. 8 For there are three who bear witness, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and the three agree in one. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of Yahweh is greater: for the witness of Yahweh is this, that he has borne witness concerning his Son. 10 He that believes on the Son of Yahweh has the witness in him: he that does not believe Yahweh has made him a liar; because he has not believed in the witness that Yahweh has borne concerning his Son. 11 And the witness is this, that Yahweh gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that has the Son has the life; he that has not the Son of Yahweh has not the life.
13 These things I have written to you, that you may know that you have eternal life, even to you that believe on the name of the Son of Yahweh. 14 And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us: 15 and if we know that he hears us whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him. 16 If any man see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and Elohim will give him life for them that do not sin unto death. There is a sin leading to death: not concerning this I do say that he should make request. 17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not leading to death.
18 We know that whoever is begotten of Yahweh sins not; but he that was begotten of Yahweh keeps himself, and the evil one touches him not. 19 We know that we are of Yahweh, and the whole world lies in the evil one. 20 And we know that the Son of Yahweh has come, and has given us an understanding, that we might know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Yahshua the Messiah. This is the true Elohim, and eternal life. 21 My little children, guard yourselves from idols.
